The song is about the day of the dead and how people are kept alive through memories.
During the Mexican ceremony of The Day Of The Dead (also known as All Saints or Todos Santos), there is no time for mourning. Instead, there is the celebration of a life that continues. A life that survives through such things as photographs, stories, belongings, and memories. The same remains with our dear friend Gen and Lady Jaye (whom I see as one of the same) not just through those blessed enough to have known them, but also through what they left behind. These would consist of numerous influences and teachings through numerous means, including but not limited to COUM, The Exploding Galaxy, TOPY/TOPI, spoken word, literature, and music. Even through this album and book you (yes, you the listener/reader right here!) can relish in the memories and wisdom of Genesis Breyer P-Orridge as they live on through you as well.
